1. For your pet's first stay, please be sure to bring their shot records, the first three ingredients of the food you feed them at home, clearly marked medication (if required) and any special instructions in regard to their care or medical history. Any following visits should have the same, though we do not see your pet's shot records unless the information has been updated or the records in our files have expired.
2. Yes, you can, but please remember pets treat their toys differently when outside of the home. So we suggest that you do not bring a special or favorite toy. As part of our pest control policy, RBK cannot accept fleece or cloth toys. RBK also has toys and treats that we provide to our guests during their stay.
3. No, we only allow one Feline per Condominium or Town Home. We monitor our guests' stools and urine every day. If we have more than one Feline together, we are unable to determine if both felines truly urinated or had a bowel movement. Felines who do not urinate have the possibility of becoming blocked, which is a serious condition. However, we can put Felines from the same family in the play area together if such is requested by the owner.
4. We feed both in the morning and evening depending on our guests' individual needs.
5. No, we do not allow outside bedding. RBK has a very stringent and effective pest control policy. Part of this policy is not to allow outside bedding and certain types of toys. RBK provides bedding of various thickness and size to our guests from our own inventory to ensure the health and comfort of our guests.
6. We only show the kennel during specific hours because we believe that our guests should have a certain routine. This routine includes certain times for feeding, resting and playing. Our hours to show the kennel do not cause interruption to our feeding time or our rest time. This ensures that all our guests have a quiet time to eat, especially our puppies and older pets.
7. Yes. As long as it is properly identified, you may bring your pet's favorite movie, or taped television show.
Policies
RBK Required Vaccinations Policy: All canine guests must be up-to-date on their Rabies, DHLPP (Distemper), Intertract (K9/Canine Cough, Kennel Cough) and Canine Influenza in order to stay at our resort and spa. All Felines must be up-to-date on their FVCRP (Feline Distemper) and Rabies in order to stay at our resort and spa. All shots must be given at least two weeks before the scheduled check-in date.
RBK Privacy Policy: All RBK customer information is considered confidential. RBK will not, at any time, sell, lend or give personal information to a third party unless required to by a court order or law. Information given in person at times of visits and through www.RBK-PET.com are covered in this policy.
RBK Personal Belongings Policy: RBK is not responsible for toys left with the pet. Leashes, Collars and Tags are not kept by RBK, as we have our own leashes for the safety of your pet. All personal belongings with the exception of acceptable toys, will be returned at check in.
RBK Medication Policy: RBK can administer medications, either pills or injections in nature. There is an additional charge based on the amount of times the medication needs to be adminstered and its type.
RBK Feeding Policy: RBK purchases its own food through various brand names to ensure a balanced meal every day to each of our guests. There is no extra charge if RBK uses its own food. However, if you feel you must bring your own food, there will be an additional charge for storage and each preparation.
RBK Pest Control Policy: RBK does not accept any outside bedding pf any kind and does not accept toys made of fleece or cloth. Each guest will be checked upon arrival to ensure the presence of fleas and ticks are not found. If either are found, the guest will have to be bathed prior to check in with appropriate bathing charges added to the bill.
RBK Cancellation Policy: A 48-hour cancellation notice is required. Failure to give a 48-hour notice will result in a Cancellation Fee.
RBK Payment Policy: All reservations and grooms must be paid in full at time of pick-up. RBK does not bill. We accept Cash, Personal Checks, Travelers Checks, Master Card and Visa for the convenience of our customers.
